CLASSES OF '48 AND '49 HAVE JOINT LUNCHEON
by Phil Toman, '49

Ever since their respective 50th anniversary banquets, the classes of 1948 and 1949 have been holding regular luncheon meetings. On October 4, the two classes had a joint luncheon at the Columbus Inn in Wilmington.

Archmere Headmaster Fr. Tim Mullen, O.Praem., Archmere Chaplain Fr, Joseph McLaughlin and Alumni Director Tom Mallon attended and discussed things about the school. Fr. Mullen give and update on the attempted putsch by some of the non=teaching Norbertines at Archmere and how the situation stands today. He reported that things look very good for the future success of our school.

Both classes enjoyed the two hour event and are planning on repeating it next fall. If you are a member of either class and want to be a part of the event, please contact Jack McKernan '48 at jmckernan@earthlink.net or Phil Toman '49 at philtoman@msn.com.

Now the class of '49 is trying to schedule a luncheon with the Class of '50. The date is March 7, 2002. No one in that class as come forward as a representative so any member of the class OR 1950 may contact Phil Toman at philtoman@msn.com and he will forward it to the class rep when one is established.
