THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

OFFICERS

President Joseph Walker '36

Vice-president Joseph Healy '35

Secretary William Navin '36

Treasurer James Haley '37

In this, the Tenth Anniversary Patio, we have looked back over the past years at Archmere and have noted the outstanding events and personalities which have shaped its course. In this section of the book we have listed the graduates of Archmere and have succeeded in telling, for the most part, what they are doing at the present time. The lists for each year do not include the post-graduate students, even though there has always been a class of boys who have come to Archmere to put 'in another year of preparation for college work. Perhaps some future class will be able to find out and publish the activities of all the alumni, since the association is made up of graduates, post-graduates, and also, those who have spent at least one year at Archmere and have withdrawn in good standing.

Seven groups of young men have passed through the halls of the school before our present class. From Archmere they have gone on to higher education, to the armed forces of the United States. and to the industrial life of their communities. Eight alumni have dedicated their lives to the holy priesthood. Fifteen graduates in addition to many other alumni are at present in the army, navy, and marine corps. Within a few months many more will become a part of the armed forces in the present titanic struggle. We who are about to join them in a short time salute the former students of Archmere, and wish them Godspeed in their life work.

Three out of the 4 officers of the Alumni Association were there the first day Archmere opened its doors to students 10 years earlier.
