John Stone 1964 writes: John T. STone, MAI, has lived in Avalon, New Jersey since 1986. In October of 2001, while riding his bicycle,he suffered an abdominal aortic aneurysm. John feels that his guardian angel saved him. Avalon, in October, is virtuall deserted. On his knees, and unable to function, someone put a hand on John's shoulder and said that he was going to call an ambulance. Joh spent nine hours in the operating room and two weeks on life support. After five additional operations for recurring hernias, Joh is physically fine. His wife and love of his life Rosalie Rambo Stone, died on September 28, 2002.

John Oravis 1970 writes: Earned a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University, Mankato (Mankato, MN) in December 2004.

Anthony Piraino 1972 writes: Sr Product Manager for Wolfcraft, Inc. Private held with headquarters located in Kempenich, Germany, about 160 km NW of Frankfort. Manufacturer of wood working accessories including router tables, clamping tables, clamps, wood joining, miter saw stands, tables and supports and transport systems(2 wheel carts).

Ed Lynch 1975 writes: I am preparing to start my 15th year as a professor of political science at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. I am wrapping up a sabbatical year in which I started writing a book on Ronald Reagan's Central America policy, which I helped to create when I worked in the Reagan White House. I am also working on a book of anecdotes about American governors. I continue to be very active in Virginia politics, as well as national politics.

Rich Spiropoulos 1977 writes: Married, wife name Tammi, three kids, Michael, Kori, Erin. Currently sitting on the Automotive Aftermarket Board, Lobby group in Washington DC. Also Pres. of Spiro Associates in Orlando FL.

Robert Mears, III 1986 writes: and wife Katie, welcomed the birth of Robert IV. Born January 20, 2005, he joins his sisters Ehrin (4) and McKenna (3) at home in West Chester.

Melissa Butler 1987 writes: I married Todd H. Weaver on September 17, 2005 in the church where I was baptized in 1969: St. Joseph on the Brandywine in Greenville, Delaware!! Michael Marinelli was the organist and Mary Ellen Schauber was the soloist!! Todd works in commercial/industrial real estate, and I am working on a children's book. We live on the beach in sunny Fort Lauderdale, Florida!!

Tammy Shumaker Golden 1987 writes: You can take me off the missing list- I'm no longer missing. My family has lived just outside of Seattle, WA for the past three years. My husband and I have three boys; Tucker 2-1/2, Wyatt and Luke 1 year old fraternal twins. I've been with Ernst & Young LLP for 3-1/2 years but reduced my schedule to part-time after the arrival of the twins.

Gerardine Connolly McLean 1988 writes: I married John McLean February 20, 2004 we live in Martinez California. On February 12, 2005 we had a daughter, Samantha Elizabeth. I am an RN and currently work for the Journal of Addictions Nursing as Editorial Coordinator and Column Editor.

Frank Dailey 1988 writes: My wife Julie and I announce the birth of our first child, Emma Katharine Dailey, born Sept. 22, 2005.

Matt Warder 1988 writes: Matt and wife Kami welcomed home their fourth child, Matthew Pierce on September 23,2005. "Pierce" was also given a warm welcome by his 3 big sisters, Payton (5), Kennady (4) and Aubrey (2). Pierce tilted the scales by weighing 10 lbs and 9.2 ounces. Pierce is to be baptized on November 6 at Saint Michaels Catholic Church in Gastonia, NC. Matt and Kami still live in Lake Wylie, SC and Matt is the Director of Sales for Time Warner Telecom.

Jason Sack 1989 writes: Jason Sack, class of 1989 and wife Victoria, welcomed the birth of Michael Julius. Born April 4, 2005, Michael is named after his great grandfather, Michael D. O'Connor, class of 1938. Michael joins his big sister Ava (3) at home in Ardmore, PA.

Robert Ulmer 1990 writes: I was recently hired by the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher, and Flom, LLP to serve as an associate specialist in their corporate litigation practice in their Washington, D.C. office

Charles Kuzminski Charles  Kuzminski 1990 writes: I am on the missing list. My wife Laura and I have two children; Matthew Charles Kuzminski - born May 4, 2002 and Erin Samantha Kuzminski - born April 4, 2005. I currently work as a sales and service representative for Cintas Corporation. I also have an eBay Store where I sell guitar accessories and equipment. I currently play guitar in two bands - and original group called Schwa and a group that performs "The Wall" - a Pink Floyd tribute. 1990 writes: I am on the missing list. My wife Laura and I have two children; Matthew Charles Kuzminski - born May 4, 2002 and Erin Samantha Kuzminski - born April 4, 2005. Kristin Kennedy Hodlofski 1991 writes: My husband Mark and I welcomed our third child on March 17, 2005. We named him Patrick Robert as he was born on St. Patrick's Day. He joins big brother Ryan who is 4 and big sister Kelly who is 2. Patrick weighed 7lbs 8ounces. Bob Kennedy (graduated in 1985) his Godfather. We are currently living in Glen Mills Pennsylvania.

Jennifer Graff Holgado 1991 writes: My husband Dennis and I would like to announce the birth of our third child, Matthew on June 24, 2005. We currently reside in West Chester, PA, where Dennis works as a family physician at Westtown Valley Medical Associates. I am an Associate Director at Navigant Consulting in Princeton, NJ.

Suzanne Batchelet Snyder 1993 writes: My husband, Chris and I had a daughter, Anne Victoria, on January 31, 2005. Annie was 8 lbs. 14 oz. and 20.75 inches at birth. She joins brother Matthew, age 2.

Bridget Hartnagel Bradham 1993 writes: Bridget Hartnagel ('93) married Page Bradham on October 8th, 2005 in Baltimore, MD. Kate Nasuti (Hartnagel, class of 87), Andrew Hartnagel ('95), and Lisa Faline (DiSanto, class of 93) were all in the wedding party. The couple happily lives in Baltimore City and Bridget continues to work as an elementary school counselor for Baltimore County Public Schools.

Chris Boone 1993 writes: Chris' short film, THE CHICKEN RACES, inspired by his experiences during Freshman Clash Day in 1989 when the Chicken Races still existed, will premiere June 26, 2005 at the Boston International Film Festival. He hopes to screen the short at a festival closer to Delaware in the fall. Chris lives with his wife, Jennifer Anderson, and daughter Marguerite (Maggie, 2) in Boston, MA.

Lauren Dege Cardillo 1994 writes: Bryan and Lauren Cardillo, 1994, welcomed their 2nd child, Joseph Alexander on 6/4/2004. Joseph was christened Claudia Girardi's(94) godchild. He joins 2 year old sister Courtney, godchild of Janet Smoyer(94).

Susan Cleaver-Shea 1994 write - I attended the annual Peace Officer's Memorial Service on May 15, 2005. I was privileged enough to be able to spend just a short minute or two with President Bush. It was very bitter sweet for me. For, the only reason I was there was because my husband was killed in the line of duty July 18, 2004. May 15th is a very special day for Chris and I. It was the day we were married in 1999. I have attached a photo of myself with President Bush. I thought I would share with my Archmere family since you have been so wonderful to me. Thank you to everyone for your continued support and prayers. My husband is still blessing mine and my children's lives. For he was a wonderful man. I am honored to have been his wife.

Angela Chien 1995 writes: I've been living and working in Switzerland since June 2004, and have been travelling all over Europe on free weekends. In March, I'm heading to Belize for a week of scuba diving, and I'm in the process of planning another dive trip in the summer, most likely to the Red Sea.

Nicole Pappas Pappas-Ferrara 1995 writes: I married Michael Ferrara in November, 2004. We are moving to Phoenixville, PA. I am currently a Guidance Counselor at Kennett Middle School in Landenberg, PA.

Molly McDowell Oakey 1995 writes: Baby Christopher Knox Oakey, Jr was born to Christopher and Molly Oakey on April 11, 2005, at home in Richmond, Virginia. Knox was 8 pounds 4 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. He is happy that his two cousins, Ryan (3) and Noelle (1), and their parents Luke '93 and Sophie McDowell have recently moved from Seattle, WA to Annapolis.

Erin Dickens Grace 1995 writes: Erin Dickens married Joseph Grace on June 18th, 2005 at St. Patrick's Church in Kennett Square. Erin teaches math at Lower Merion High School, while her husband is a builder/developer in Delaware and Chester Counties. She and her husband reside in Chadds Ford.

Michael Burns '95 Michael Burns passed the patent bar exam in August 2005. He is currently in his final year at Widener Law School and he's the president of the rugby club and involved in various other school activities.

Lindsay Kellogg Helms 1995 writes: Lindsay Kellogg married Christopher Helms on May 14, 2005 in Annapolis, MD. Her sister Courtney, class of '93, served as the maid-of-honor. Lindsay met Chris, a graduate of Virginia Tech in May, 2000 when they were both living in Annapolis. Lindsay is working as a transportation engineer at a private consulting firm and they currently reside in Crofton, MD. In November, 2005 they will be moving to Raleigh, NC.

Rob  Schmidt 1997 writes: In May, graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. One week later, married Melanie Bolling, who I met while singing in the choir at Duke. Following a honeymoon in Aruba, we moved to Richmond, Virginia, where I am in the first year of my residency in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia.

Bianca Shorteno Fraser 1998 would like to thank the Archmere Academy Alumni Association for the beautiful flowers she received while in the University of Pennsylvania trauma unit. She is grateful for the miracle of having survived the near fatal car accident on July 2nd as well as for the amazing outpouring of prayers and good wishes she has received. After a month of hospitalization, she is now home recuperating.

Brian McCarthy 1999 writes: I just finished my graduate studies in Biochemistry at Indiana University. I am now relocating to Chicago where I recently accepted a position at a Clinical Study Coordinator at the University of Chicago Hospital, Department of Gastroenterology.

Megan Washall 2000 writes: I became engaged to Keith Herrmann on September 30, 2005. An October 2006 wedding is planned.

Ryan Browning 2001 writes: I graduated from UNC early (in 3 years due to all those AP courses!) and am now in my 1st year of law school at William and Mary. I am part of the Sports and Entertainment Law competitive team, and will be trying out for Moot Court and Law Review later this year. Hoping for a judicial clerkship this summer 2005 in Delaware.

Mia Shorteno Fraser (Class 2001) graduated from Georgetown University this spring with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in English. During her college career, she was on the Deans List and spent a session abroad at Oxford University. She will be moving to San Diego, California where she will be pursuing a PhD in Clinical Developmental Psychology.

Asheton Phinney 2001 writes: Asheton Phinney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dickinson College on May 22, 2005. During her time at Dickinson, she won six academic prizes. She held the top academic position in her class for two years in a row and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Lindsey Lawless 2003 writes: Currently majoring in early childhood education at the University of Delaware. Working to persue my BS and then onto a master's degree in early childhood development and inclusive education.
