I recently
found this picture on disk from the Police Week 2005 events that I attended.
Senator Biden was very gracious in spending hours with my family and Chris'
family down in Washington, DC. He opened up his office to us, and allowed us
time to spend with him in his busy schedule. It was very humbling to spend time
with our nations leaders, including the President which I have submitted that
photo already. Out of all the tragedies in our lives, many blessings are still
coming to my children and I. Because this angel above, Chris Shea, is continuing
his watch over us.
I thinks that it's neat...two Archmere alumni, Senator Biden and myself.
Blessings,
Susan Cleaver-Shea 1994
I
attended the annual Peace Officer's Memorial Service on May 15, 2005. I was
privileged enough to be able to spend just a short minute or two with President
Bush. It was very bitter sweet for me. For, the only reason I was there was
because my husband was killed in the line of duty July 18, 2004. May 15th is
a very special day for Chris and I. It was the day we were married in 1999.
I have attached a photo of myself with President Bush. I thought I would share
with my Archmere family since you have been so wonderful to me. Thank you to
everyone for your continued support and prayers. My husband is still blessing
mine and my children's lives. For he was a wonderful man. I am honored to have
been his wife.
Sincerely,
Susan Cleaver-Shea
